The travel visa for tourists who wish to visit France just for pleasure purpose is granted only for ninety days. To apply for a tourist visa, you should have your passport ready and in place. Secondly, don’t forget to fill your visa application form correctly with signature at all required places. You will also have to affix your 2-3 passport sized photographs in the visa application. Moreover, you will have to submit the documents which prove the details of your stay at France and the travel agent’s details. Make sure that you have insured your overseas medical policy. Do not forget to attach the copy of your air tickets inclusive of your to and fro ticket details. After filling all the details in the visa form, you should also be prepared to pay the visa application fees.
Also, in some cases, employed people are asked to attest the documents of their company details. In cases, where the traveler is a minor, he/she are required to take signatures of their parent or legal guardian in their visa application forms.
It may happen that apart from all the basic documents mentioned above, you may be asked to submit other documents depending upon the Embassy’s requirement to be satisfied regarding the information submitted by in your application form. Only after the officials are satisfied by all your given details in the application form, they issue or reject the visa.
