Immigration New Amnesty Law
The new immigration amnesty law was enacted with an insight of granting all illegal immigrants the right to settle down in the United States legally. However, lately this law has enraged a lot of Americans and has become a constant topic of discussion.
According to the U.S. natives, the illegal immigrants have increased terror in the entire country. The law is blindly granting rights to illegal immigrants with undocumented records and that has augmented terrorism. In a recent conference, the U.S. President Bush addressed the mass that he is against amnesty and the law which allows undocumented employees to get citizenship. Though, President Bush admitted and thanked all the immigrants for their contribution in boosting the economy of the U.S., but he said that various measures have been taken and stringent steps are taken regarding granting immigrants the U.S. citizenship.
He stated that undocumented employees can pay a specific sum of money as their registration fees for getting provisional employee permit. He further stated that granting amnesty promotes the chances of law being breached and hence, enables illegal immigration. The immigrants who strictly follow all the rules and regulations of the U.S. law will only get the citizenship of the U.S.
President Bush further stated that to decrease the cases of illegal immigrants in the country, the American employers should first offer the jobs to American natives. If and only under the condition, no American natives take up the job, then only the employer can hire non-U.S. citizen. He concluded that the new immigration law should dole out the economic necessities of the country.
